The FBR has confirmed that these emails are fake and sent from fraudulent sources. They seek access to taxpayers’ bank details. In order to keep people from falling for this fraud, the FBR advises taxpayers to only consider emails sent from the FBR’s official domain. In case you get such an email, do not click on any links.
