CDA approves plan for modern prison

Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has approved a plan to set up a modern prison in Sector H-16, according to sources. The prison will have facilities for sporting, boarding, and healthcare. It will also have residential quarters, educational and religious institutes along with a library. According to initial reports, the prison will span over 90 acres of land. The CDA has leased 435,600 yard2 of land for this facility at a cost of PKR 720 million, for 33 years.
